CUSTOMER TRAINING COURSES

Courses on the installation, commissioning and servicing of all Halstead Boilers are held regularly at our Technical Services and Training Centre, located at Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, easily accessible from the M40.

We are an approved training centre and authorized to offer the Energy Efficiency Course as part of the requirements for central heating installers laid out in Part L of the building regulations.

EEF Energy Efficiency

COST: £158.62 inclusive of VAT £50.00 voucher on completion.

Following the revised Building Regulations published April 2005, from April 2006, all installers wishing to certify their own work under Corgi legislation, (rather than call Local Authority Building Control) must hold a certificate in Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating. We offer this one day certified course which begins at 9am and finishes after a short test paper at around 5pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided. The course content includes: · Benefits of efficient heating and hot water · Energy efficiency and the building regs · The importance of boiler efficiency · The importance of an efficient hot water cylinder · Domestic heating and hot water controls · Commissioning

PT Combi

COST: £47.00 inclusive of VAT £30.00 voucher on completion.

Training to include fault finding, product identification, safety requirements, installation requirements, the importance of manufactures instructions and system type in relation to product range. This course will cover the current products.

PT Condensing range

COST: £47.00 inclusive of VAT £30.00 voucher on completion.

This course is aimed at the engineer who is already familiar with the Halstead product range. The course will contain a full introduction to our new condensing range (including the EDEN) with a more detailed fault finding and commissioning aspect.

SD 1 System design and Products Identification

COST: £35.25 inclusive of VAT £30.00 voucher on completion.

This course is aimed at specifiers and merchant staff and contains all relevant information relating to Domestic Heating and Hot water requirements. The candidate will receive training on different Heating and Hot water systems and product application.

This is a two-day full scope course on solar training under Logic Certfication
